Weekly Photo Challenge: Growth
August 4, 2012 by
I got yelled at in my mom group for not having a life. Read all about it!
A photo of Juno and P the day we headed home from the hospital (stopover at Starbucks, natch) and a photo taken in the same location, one year later:
If you think I’m talking about you here, yeah, you’re probably right.

Lovely images… well done!
Thank you!
I love that the images were taken in the same location; great idea and great memories captured!
I’m glad I remembered — it’s sort if an out-of-the-way location, I think it probably *had* been a full year in between visits!
I love this picture of Juno and her Papa!
Me too! Very glad he agreed to let me share it.
Lovely idea. what DIFFERENCE A YEAR MAKES :) CONGRATS ON SURVIVING SO FAR ;)
“So far” being the key qualifier. :-)
lol sorry for caps :) I was just pulling your leg :)
Lovely. Did you ever see that youtube that featured a baby’s picture taken every day for its first year. A bit obsessive! Thanks for liking my Growth post! I’d rather have a baby than the Byrozoans!
I think Byrozoan would be an awesome baby name. :-) I did see that time-lapse and we did do something similar — photos every month, not every day — but I like the stark contrast of the year’s gap. She is a big baby but she looks
SO big (to me) in the second pic.
That’s a clever idea!
Thanks!
Very nice. Baby is so cute.
Thanks so much. We like her. :-)
Love!!! Your pics are awesome!!!
Love this post!
Thanks !
Now that is awesome! Sweet pics by the way!
Thanks so much!
Aren’t they so tiny when they are born! Lovely photos!
SO tiny. And she was 9 lbs at birth!
I thought of sharing something similar with my own ten year old daughter. These are beautiful pictures. Maybe next time. :)
Thank you! I knew I wanted to post this as soon as I saw the topic!
Touching … and beautiful. ;-)
Thank you! They’re a pretty cute pair, I think.
So cute – great idea for the challenge!
Thank you!
One of the most rewarding growth process we can follow and experience. The growth of a child is rewarding, exciting and full of wonder. One we can document in our minds, hearts and photos. I would do this every year, how cool would that be. Thanks for sharing a wonderful growth post.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
You know, it honestly wouldn’t have occurred to me to do this again next year … thanks for the suggestion!
Fantastic timelaps.
Mostly accidental, but pretty neat, I think!
OH! This photos are really beautiful. So sweet! Thanks for stopping by my blog “Exploring the world. Photography, travel, art” and liking my post “Weekly Photo Challenge: Urban”.
Kind greetings,
Marianne
Nothing says “growth” like actual real growth. Great concept.
True enough!
