On the edges of my walkable neighbourhood, across from our favourite grocery store:

Is that snow? I love snow! Don’t get it at all in Bombay and it’s the one thing I miss about living in London (that once a year snowfall).
It sure is! We’ve had a pretty average winter so far — snows, melts, snows, melts. I’d rather shovel than contend with humidity; I’m guessing that’s something you don’t have to miss in Bombay!
Absolutely. The only weather I look forward to are the monsoon. And the winters are cool at best. Maddeningly enough I still love this city, it’s where I grew up!
It’s snow, but it has not been very good this year. It has caused more chaos, where I live then fun. Being a kid I’m okay with a bit of chaos but there has to be fun too. This year the snow hasn’t built up much.
I like your neighborhood.
It looks cold, though. Brrr.
It was that day — bright and sunny and 5°C today!
How do you get the colors to look like this
I took this pic about a month ago, but didn’t edit the image (I liked the colours, too!). That said, I was actually standing inside the grocery store when I shot it (you can see the reflection of the fluorescent lights near the roofline of the brick buildings). I’m guessing the store’s tinted windows provided a sort of colour filter?
Wet, brown, slush… I’m glad the winter is nearly over.
I love winter … hate March.
Wow I can read right away “Hardware.” Here in Prague it’s really hard to find a Hardware here, believe it or not I brought few tools from States back here in Prague.
I love checking out hardware stores, grocery stores, etc. when I travel. Much more interesting than most of the standard tourist attractions.
I like the very red dog in the center!
