Weekly Photo Challenge: Changing Seasons

When I was a child, Christmas outdoor decorations consisted mostly of lights and maybe the odd wreath.

The big trend now — in my neighbourhood, anyway — seems to be decorating otherwise sad and naked deciduous trees in Christmas balls.

I approve.

      I’m sure their brief appearance makes us appreciate them more … or resent all the packing and unpacking involved. No … appreciate. Definitely appreciate.
