I know it’s supercheesy to post a photo of your kid when the topic is “free spirit,” and in truth, Juno is probably more “spirited” than her brother, but I will always treasure this photo of Seve braving the surf in San Sebastián. He is by nature a cautious child, but his curiosity sometimes wins out:

Too cute for words!
Thank you — I think they’re on the cute side.
No child or picture so cute could fall into the “supercheesy” category! It’s perfect! What a brave little guy. Juno is adorable too!
I could make all kinds of proclamations about it being the blustery North Atlantic, but in truth the water was warm(ish) — swimmers in regular bathing suits going for a dip, in January!
how cute.. *hug*
Thank you !
Look at him! Adorable!
I know! He did eventually run away from the waves, but that was mostly because *I* was getting all shrieky. Oops.
Cute interpretation of this week’s theme. Great post. Liked it a lot.
Thanks !
Oh, great photos of true free spirits!
Thank you!
Lovely photos
Thanks!
She is so adorable!
She is a feisty piece of business, that one.
Imagine being that small and facing those waves….and Juno, great expressions.
They were little waves, but still! Very brave. And Juno — she cracks me up all day long.
aha! very nice!!
Definitely a different kind of coast, that’s for sure!
Cute… *big hugs*
And they’re several months cuter by now!
Excellent choices!
Thanks !
Don’t know if he’s more sweet or cute!
Lovely pictures
Aw, thanks! Most days, equal parts, shared with whiny and hilarious.
Adorable!
Thank you!
Love this. What cute little guys.
They’re pretty adorkable.
Haven’t met too many kids that aren’t free and independent spirits so not cheesy at all; ‘Seve braving the surf’ is a great pic that implies so many questions and stories…
Beautifully said — thank you!
